About – Omar Salem

Designer, storyteller, and observer of everyday systems — from architecture and wayfinding to digital experiences and human rituals. I create work that connects clarity with emotion, form with function, and people with place.

Born somewhere between cultures and disciplines, I’ve learned to design for connection — how people move, feel, and belong in both digital and physical spaces. My background in architecture shapes my visual systems, while my curiosity about human behavior anchors my work in empathy and experience.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me outside — hiking, writing, reading, cooking, or brewing coffee in the quiet hours. My work often begins there: in stillness, observing how the world holds us together.

Based in Trondheim, Norway. Working with Nonspace. Open to collaborations and conversations about design, belonging, and the spaces between.
